This 5-day instructor-led course is for administrators or supervisors responsible for the administration of Avaya Contact Center Select. Delivered in a classroom setting with remote access to lab equipment, Avaya Contact Center Select Administration consists of a combination of instructor presentations followed by hands-on exercises performed by students.

Students will have an opportunity to ask questions and participate in discussions during the lectures and lab exercises. This course offer is part of the Avaya Solutions Administrator and Developer Certificate Program and is designed for the roles of Administrators and Developers.

Key Objectives

  • Describe the Avaya Contact Center Select, its components and the integration requirements.
  • Explain the purpose of User and Data provisioning and use the Contact Center Management toll to add agents, supervisors, Skills, Activity Codes and Agent Assignments.
  • Modify sample applications, script variables and add a basic application using Orchestration Designer.
  • Understand the Avaya Agent Desktop client application and complete the installation of Avaya Agent Desktop on an Agent PC.
  • Verify the general settings, in the Contact Center Multimedia Administration Web interface. Setup the required properties to route Web communication and handle outbound campaigns using the Outbound Campaign Management Tool.
  • Describe and create the function of Threshold Classes, standard Real-Time Displays, and Historical Reports.
  • Learn how to perform a database backup procedure.
