TrainingPros Welcomes Lori Fancher

TrainingPros, a nationwide learning and development (L&D) staffing agency that provides contract consultants for projects in large companies, welcomes Lori Fancher, PhD, as a relationship manager. She will join the metropolitan Atlanta area team and be responsible for supporting existing clients as well as contributing to the company’s overall growth strategy.

In her new role as relationship manager, Fancher will guide talent development consultants, leaders and executives in the selection and placement of expert contract-based staff to realize strategic business results. Her background working with operations and human resources leaders in various industries, including health care, insurance, and transportation, is a good fit for the types of companies she will be advising in the region. Having been a contractor for TrainingPros at one point, as well as a recent client, Lori is well acquainted with the firm.

Mindfulness During Challenging Times

During these uncertain times of Covid-19, many of us find ourselves feeling unmoored, unable to plan and predict, stripped from our trusted ways of interacting and getting the job done. A colleague of mine used the term unsettled recently to describe how she was feeling, and then backtracked, “I don’t think unsettled even begins to address the range of emotions we’re experiencing. We’re in new territory here.”

As we all look for ways to mitigate what may feel like the constant low-level hum of our stress response, mindfulness can be a powerful tool to help us navigate this new territory, a buffer, and a guide during these times of upending change.

Adam Kornfeld Joins TrainingPros

The leadership team of TrainingPros, a nationwide temporary staffing agency that provides large organizations with learning and development (L&D) contract specialists for training projects, is pleased to announce that Adam Kornfeld has joined the firm as a relationship manager. This announcement was made today by TrainingPros President Leigh Anne Lankford.

Kornfeld will draw upon his nearly 30 years of experience in the L&D industry to help client organizations staff their projects with the consultants who can execute them. He will do so by maintaining close contact with the experts needed for special projects, including instructional designers, e-learning developers, technical writers and more.

Lankford New TrainingPros President

Effective January 1, 2020, Leigh Anne Lankford was appointed president of TrainingPros, a nationwide, Atlanta-based temporary staffing agency that provides large organizations with learning and development (L&D) contract specialists for training projects. This announcement comes after Steve Kapaun, former president and founder of TrainingPros, announced his retirement in December 2019.

“I am blessed to hand the reins of TrainingPros to Leigh Anne, who is fiercely committed to serving current and future clients,” said Kapaun. “Our business was built through strong, personal client relationships. With her entrepreneurial spirit, business skills and laser focus on client service, Leigh Anne will take TrainingPros to the next level.”
