Project Management Video Series

Because TrainingPros is in the business of providing expert consultants for clients’ learning & development projects, we experience the full spectrum of project management approaches and experiences with our clients and consultants. We even have a separate service and talent category of project managers because we recognize how important that skill set is to the success of a training program. Recently, TrainingPros teamed up with Young Resource Group (YRG) to develop a series of project management videos that we think you’ll find very helpful.

YRG focuses exclusively on delivering project management programs and preparing professionals for the Project Management Professional (PMP) exam through its bootcamp courses. For years, we have offered their PMP Exam Bootcamp Course through the TrainingPros catalog of instructor-led training offerings. With his deep industry and technical expertise, YRG’s Gordon Young was the perfect choice to briefly walk you through managing the pitfalls of project management and possibly inspiring you to pursue additional learning opportunities that will help you more effectively manage learning and development projects.

The first video in our Project Management lineup starts with the most appropriate topic: a Project Kickoff. Gordon addresses the pain points that can develop and provides practical tips for more careful planning and setting the best expectations to finish strongly. TrainingPros has many examples of how projects with well-executed kickoffs get off to good starts and experience fewer problems, and we invite you to comment with your own tips for project management.
