The effective use of technology in the workplace is vital to success in business communication since this may be the only means of contact a customer has with your company. Learn to project a professional image over the telephone by improving your use of tone of voice, volume, inflection and pacing to communicate effectively and match your intensity with that of your customers.

This course will enable participants to:

  • Demonstrate competency in the how and the what of telephone communications
  • Increase awareness of individual strengths and weaknesses when using the telephone through completion of a self-evaluation
  • Apply effective telephone etiquette
  • Answer the call professionally, put callers on hold politely, transfer calls effectively
  • Take/deliver complete and understandable messages, and end the call properly
