About this Course

This course uses the powerful and proven Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) instrument to help people understand and use the concept of personality type in business and life. Participants learn their own personality type as well as how to recognize type in others, so they can work and communicate more effectively in business. Based on psychologist Carl Jung’s research on personality types, the MBTI is administered more than 2,000,000 times each year, and is the most widely used psychological instrument in the world. In this course participants will:

Take the MBTI, learn their personality type and gain an understanding of their strengths and weakness. MBTI type provided to each participant is confidential.
Develop a personal development plan based on their knowledge and understanding of their personality type
Learn to recognize the personality type characteristics of others and use that information to communicate/work more effectively with team members, customers and business partners
Practice and drive home these skills in role plays designed for their particular business
Manage conflict caused by misunderstanding and miscommunication
Increase their communication effectiveness within the organization and with its partners and customers
