TP-CS008: Present with Confidence

About this Course

• The Communicate for Success workshop involves two parts – The ABC’s of communication and Making 2 Speeches.
• Students will be asked to give two speeches – introduction and prepared 3 – 5 minute speech.
• Part one, the ABC’s of communication, involves a PowerPoint presentation made to the group with many examples on how to present in front of small and large groups.
• The presenter’s experiences as a classroom and virtual trainer, actor, instructional designer, voice over artist, and radio announcer are incorporated into the workshop.
• Part one can be presented to a large group and then break out into smaller sessions for part two.
• Part two is where each participant will give a 3 - 5 minute prepared speech on any topic in front of the group and be video taped. The content is not judged, only the presentation. Each speech is viewed during the workshop and given developmental feedback from the facilitator and the other participants.
• Part two of the workshop is limited to 8 per session.
• This workshop is geared toward any employee that must present in front of one to a hundred people and can be set up in many formats depending on the number of participants and time available.

• Workshop can be presented in a classroom, boardroom, convention meeting room, as par of your next company retreat or team-builder week.
